Summer 2024

The main fundraising goals for summer 2024:

Winter 2023

During the winter AlpineDignity continued to support the Ukrainian military by sending 7 sets of warm military grade jackets and pants. With the help of Azzur Group, a pharmaceutical consulting firm based out of Boston, MA AlpineDignity was also able to send supplies to the children and mothers in the Kharkiv village of Hroza. Hroza was targeted by a russian Iskander missile, killing over 50 civilians attending the funeral of one of their fallen soldiers.  We continued to share a piece of Ukraine with our supporters at a local Vermont craft fair by selling decorations and ornaments handmade in Odesa, Ukraine. Thank you so much for your support!

Community Image - October 2023

In September Alpine Dignity met with Karina, a consultant who specializes with  non-governmental startups including charities and non-profits as well as larger organizations. One topic of our discussion was community outreach and involvement. Her suggestions were to be more visible in the community, both to build reputation as a charity with strong commitment to addressing population displacement as well as creating interest in our projects and connecting with potential volunteers.

With these discussions in mind Alpine Dignity staff attended and participated in the 2023 Annual Claremont, NH Chili Cook Off! This was in partnership with Honey Bear LLC contracting and handyman services, a local business in the Hartland, VT / greater Upper Valley area. We talked with several patrons and brought our poster for the fall raffle, just incase there were any golfers or cross country skiiers in the crowd!

Thank you everyone for a great turn out!

Fall Fundraiser! - Fall 2023

We are proud to have the support and trust from our friends in the Eastman Community who graciously donated 3 gift vouchers to AlpineDignity for our raffle! These prizes are worth over $500! We can't thank Eastman enough and look forward to using this opportunity to raise a good chunk of change to support our mission and stop the displacement of families due to landmines in Ukraine.

New project launch to de-mine farmlands using drone mounted magnetometer - August 2023

An exciting long term project involving volunteers traveling to Ukraine! Fundraising equips AlpineDignity with modern tools needed to safely detect and geolocate russian planted landmines.  Creating safe environments for people to work and children to play is an important part of stopping population displacement. When a field or entire town is mined with unmarked explosives, civilians leave the area due to instability and risk of death from mine shrapnel injuries. Farmers and workers cannot support business or the demand of wheat, sunflower seed, corn, and other major crops due to the same risks. This situation leads to population relocation and that's why AlpineDignity has chosen to address this problem. Our mission is to address issues such as this and find solutions so locals can remain in their homes and build strong healthy communities.

Edit March 2024: This project has been temporarily paused, but we hope to continue this effort in the near future.

New logo! - June 2023

Thank you to our friend Corodon for designing our new logo! Look for our logo here on our website and on our social media accounts!

The staff here at AlpineDignity wanted something simple with an alpine feel to remind us of the beautiful environment we are lucky enough to appreciate everyday. Hopefully we can share the beauty of our home as we continue to grow our charitable mission with our neighbors in need.
